Dutch and turkish and Japanese and American." These are the spoken words

of Jake Blount. 

           To say these words does not mean anyone should take hime literally. 

I think what Jake is trying to represnt himself as is not some mut or mix of

different nationalities, but a man who came here just like everyone else in

this country. He came in new to this country just like all the blacks, italians,

japanese, and all the rest he mentioned.

            I think Jake Blount is a misunderstood man. Even though he

doesn't act like a smart man with him being drunk and everything, but he

still knows enough to tell us that it is not our nationality that makes us

who we are, but we make ourselves and not the other way around. 

            With that in mind Jake Blount's message is more simple then 

anyone trying to make it out to be.   Not mut thinking involved in this I

think becasue what he is trying to say is pretty clear.
